Our school offers exciting extra-curricular programmes that encourage learners to stay active, develop new skills, and build confidence while having fun. These programmes take place on the school premises for the convenience of our learners and parents, while registration is done directly with the respective programme providers.
Rugga Roots is an engaging extra-mural rugby programme designed to grow a love for rugby, sport, and participation among young learners. Boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 13 years are welcome to join this fun-filled and structured programme. With the motto “Grassroots to Greatness,” Rugga Roots focuses not only on developing rugby skills but also on teaching important life lessons, encouraging teamwork, discipline, and personal growth while supporting physical development.
Playball introduces young children to constructive and enjoyable sport participation through a variety of age-appropriate activities. Using a multi-activity approach, the programme helps learners build a strong foundation in the popular sports played at school, while developing coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love for physical activity.
While aftercare facilities are unfortunately not available on the school premises, parents can make use of nearby facilities such as Pikkieland, which offers aftercare services for children. For parents’ convenience, arrangements can be made for learners to be collected from the school and safely transported to Pikkieland after the school day.
Another enjoyable learning opportunity for our learners takes place on Fridays during our school tuck shop fundraisers. Through participating in these sales, learners gain valuable exposure to the basic principles of entrepreneurship, as teachers guide them to understand responsibility, teamwork, and the value of planning and managing small sales activities.
